Dallas Mavericks NBA Trade Rumors: Smart, Young Team With Chandler Parsons, Tyson Chandler and Al-Farouq Aminu
The Dallas Mavericks spent their time well in the summer season and it looks as if they're ready and set for the 2014-2015 season.
The Mavs have done their best to bring back together some of the old players, signed in new ones, as well as acquiring Chandler Parsons. The big roster assembly is a serious move by the Mavericks to improve from their last season, even spending $46 million for Parsons.
49 wins is not an easy endeavor however, as this could be as good as the Mavericks get. They did tie for second in offensive proficiency during the regular season and even fought against the San Antonio Spurs for seven games in the first round of the playoffs, which is a pretty big deal.

Their success for the upcoming season though will solely depend on how well the old players get along with the new blood.
The synergy between the old and new players will be key to their success in the upcoming season. Therer are some common grounds upon which the team runs and one of those qualities is athleticism.
The Mavericks have just added three big-time athletes into their fold like Al-Farouq Aminu, Tyson Chandler, and Parsons. Their qualities will enable them to take the field with incredible plays, especially with Parson's speedy ground coverage, Aminu's rebounding prowess, and Chandler's agility.
The other common ground upon they draw their synergy from is a collective basketball IQ. For the upcoming season, the Mavericks are attempting to assemble a younger team without having to sacrifice this IQ.
Owner Mark Cuban believes that a smart player would be an advantage against some better players and has said that if the team was smarter then, they would have beat the Spurs.
"I think one of the reasons we were able to give San Antonio such a run is that we had a high basketball IQ and we were able to make adjustments that they didn't expect," Cuban said in an interview with KTCK-AM 1310.
"And that's what we were looking for this summer: guys with high basketball Iqs, guys who can play multiple positions, guys who were unselfish and were willing to move the ball and guys who could hit an open shot," he adds.
With such a young line-up and smart players in their roster, the Mavericks could have improved the most out of any team and may unleash havoc in the Western Conference.
