'Dance Moms' News: Major Announcement Coming Soon
After Lifetime corrected reports about the cancellation of "Dance Moms" after season 7, some of the stars of the long-running dance reality show turn to social media to announce that something big is about to happen to the show soon.
On her Twitter account, Chloe Lukasiak's mother Christi revealed in a post on Thursday, Oct. 4 that there will be a "huge" announcement that they will share with the fans next week.
So excited to share a HUGE announcement with you all next week!! #DanceMoms

However, Lukasiak did not specify the kind of announcement that they will unveil in the coming days.
Previous reports claimed that Lifetime already announced that "Dance Moms" will be canceled after season 7, but the cable channel clarified the reports to reveal that the news was incorrect and they will still return for another season. This means that whatever Lukasiak and the rest of the cast of "Dance Moms" will not be dropping a news about the show's possible cancellation.
The network is currently airing the second half of "Dance Moms" season 7, where the original choreographer and owner of the Abby Lee Dance Company Abby Lee Miller has been replaced by former "Dancing With the Stars" pro dancer Cheryl Burke after the former has been placed behind bars.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Burke revealed that it was really a challenge to take over Miller's role in front of her students since former dance coach's brash approach to the young dancers left a negative effect in their personality.
"There were a lot of tears, anger and insecurity," Cheryl stated in the interview. "It was shocking to me. I couldn't believe these beautiful girls that have zero confidence. That's not the way to live life. [The girls] said they'd been traumatized by Abby and her teaching methods. That's a shame because with teenagers it's so important to mentor them."
Lifetime airs the latest episodes of "Dance Moms" season 7 every Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT.
