Dance Zombies Take Over 'So You Think You Can Dance'

In order to fill the spot left by the season finale of "American Idol" Fox aired its newest reality series "So You Think You Can Dance," and the judges were shocked to see zombies and exorcists dance.

The new show is modeled after the popular signing competition but instead of microphones they use their feet to move to the beat. Dancers still are judged on talent, creativity and originality, but they let their moves speak for themselves.

The first episode which aired yesterday showed the talent searches in New York and Dallas. The 2-hour premier had everything from traditional dance to zombie break-dancing.

Fans of the popular sci-fi show "The Walking Dead" would have been pleased to see a zombie try to win a national dance competition. The zombie, Stepheon Stewart, came to the stage dressed as a full-fledged creepy crawler and told host Nigel Lythgoe, "I'm coming for you" before he entered into his routine.

The next aspiring dancer kept the dark theme going. Hampton "The Exorcist" Williams performed a dance routine that was described by many as "elegant" and "gorgeous." He was a big hit with the judges after they praised him for his originality and strong performance.

Already, fans of the show have picked who they will be following and it is a strapping young Australian who studied ballet.

Daniel Baker was quick to show dreamy eyed girls a toned core and graceful dance moves as a way to complement his strong ability for dance. Insiders say it will be up to him to prove that he can be a dynamic dancer and not just a handsome face.

For next week's show the judges will be looking at the dancing talent that Los Angeles and the rest of southern California has to offer. The show producers also revealed that Jesse Tyler Ferguson will appear on the show as a guest judge.
