'Dancing with the Stars' 2015 cast news: Couple Alexa and Carlos PenaVega signed up; Is Bachelorette star stepping into the dance floor, too?
While it is already known that the cast for this year's "Dancing With the Stars" dance floor hype comprises veteran performers, athletes, and other celebrities between ages 15 and 62, it has been revealed that married couple Alexa and Carlos PenaVega will join the dance crew.
The couple have uploaded a "proposal" video to make the announcement on social media, and fans immediately chimed in to root for the two. The video shows the pair's excitement as they prep for the hot competition.
According to ABC News, Steve Irwin's 17-year-old daughter, Bindi Irwin, will also be joining the 21st season as a celebrity dancer. Irwin, known for holding the last name of the "Crocodile Hunter," was the first to be officially casted for the show.
Long-time R&B artist Chaka Khan will also be part of the season 21 crew.
Known for her role as Carmen in the "Spy Kids" franchise, Alexa is expected to make it big in the showdown. Carlos, on the other hand, is a member of the band Big Time Rush.
Victor Espinoza is another big name to join the crew. The jockey won the hearts of many after he won the Triple Crown in 2015 while on the back of the horse named American Pharoah.
Former member of Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, now 35 years old, will also be hitting the dance floor, and while many professional dancers will be seen in the show, Carter is said to be one of the more popular faces.
Hayes Grier, the fourth member to be cast as part of the show, is a social media sensation who is known for making his way into the top 50 of Vine charts.
Meanwhile, "The Bachelorette" Kaitlyn Bristowe has expressed her interest in the show, saying, "I feel like I'd win. Am I jinxing myself by saying that? I might win," adding that, "I think it would be fun."
However, an insider told E! News that "The timing isn't right" for the former "Bachelor" star.
Dancing With the Stars season 21 will hit TV screens on Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, only on ABC.
