'Dancing With the Stars' News: Antonio Sabato Jr. Gets Eliminated, Week 7 Dances Recap

The Halloween-themed episode of "Dancing With the Stars" kicked off with a lively start. Judge Len Goodman participated in the opening number by stepping out of a propped up "coffin" while gleefully exclaiming, "I'm back!" Also back on the show is co-host Erin Andrews, fresh from her stint covering the World Series.

This week, the remaining eight pairs had to dance one individual dance and a group dance. Here is a recap of the dances and comments from the judges:

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd- Quick Step
Score: 28 (out of 40)
Fans were initially worried that the fast pace of the quick step might be more than what the 76-year old can handle, but Chong continued to deliver with his usual good humor and verve. Goodman called him "easy on the eye," while Carrie Ann Inaba said, "It was one of your best routines so far."

Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev- Argentine Tango
Score: 34
Thompson and Chigvintsev's tango was sensual and featured some impressive lifts and complicated legwork. Bruno Tonioli said that it was "efficient and well placed," while Julianne Hough reminded them to have fun. "You stick it every single time … don't forget the fun of it," she said.

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough- Paso Doble
Score: 39
Featuring impressive choreography from Hough and Mota transformed into a red-robed Maleficent, Tonioli called out, "You two were the embodiment of the flames of passion, absolutely fantastic." Goodman, the only judge who didn't give the pair a perfect score, thought that the dance was "lost in production."

Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Burke- Waltz
Score: 27
Though Sabato sizzled in his performance, Inaba said, "There looked like there was something uncomfortable." Goodman said that the dance "didn't work, it was ok."

Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater- Jive
Score: 20
Waltrip's stiff dance moves prompted Goodman to say, "I am surprised that you made it to week 7, you are running on empty." Inaba told him, "I want you to do better, it was more like a great freestyle."

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy- Viennese Waltz
Score: 31
The pair danced to the "Pretty Little Liars" theme, a nod to Parrish's show. While the judges agreed that she looked gorgeous, they said that they would have liked to see more of a waltz. "It was a lovely fluid dance but there was no Viennese Waltz," said Goodman.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson- Rumba
Score: 36
Amidst fears that the pair wouldn't be able to dance due to injuries that they sustained last week, the two danced a rumba that was "full of content and intention," according to Tonioli. Inaba said, "I was so impressed, the integrity was proper."

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas- Paso Doble
Score: 30
Though their dance was a big hit with the audience, the judges thought that the acting was lacking and that they may have been carried away by the theme. "I wanted to see more power, your fear played into it," said Inaba. Hough agreed, saying, "The theme did get away with you."

For the team dances, Team Itsy Bitsy was up first, which was made up of Thompson, Mota, Waltrip, Parrish and their dance partners. Hough said that the dance was "awesome" and they got a score of 36 out of 40. Meanwhile, Chong, Ribeiro, Sabato, Robertson and their partners, who made up Team Creepy, got a "well done" from Goodman and got a score of 32 out of 40.

In the end, Sabato was sent home. "I was able to dance with one of the best dancers in the world…it's all about the fans, and that's why I'm here," he said.

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
