Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater- Foxtrot
Score: 25
As Tarzan, Waltrip managed to stay in time during the whole performance. Slater made for a convincing Jane. While Inaba said that ace driver was not dancing at week 8 level, Len Goodman said that it was his best performance so far.

Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy- Contemporary
Score: 40
In an emotional routine as Romeo and Juliet, the dance highlighted the chemistry between the two. Inaba praised the choreography, while Hough added that it was "breathtaking."

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd- Paso Doble
Score: 26
The pair danced as Johnny Cash and June Carter. Chong was noticeably unsure on his feet and seemed to miss a few steps. Bruno Tonioli said that their dance could have used more "fire."

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas- Contemporary
Score: 38
As Adam and Eve, the two managed to pull off the routine without being too provocative. Inaba praised the intensity of their performance, while Hough complimented the "maturity" of the dance.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson- Cha-Cha
Score: 38
The pair danced as Batman and Robin, and their routine involved a dramatic entrance wherein Ribeiro ziplined across the dance floor using a "Bat rope." Inaba said that the routine was smooth and very smart, while Goodman said that they'll definitely be back next week.

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough- Salsa
Score: 37
The duo danced as the lead characters from "I Love Lucy." Tonioli praised Derek's versatility, and both Hough and Goodman said that they loved the routine.

Round two of the competition featured a dance off to earn three extra points. Parrish and Chmerkovskiy were exempted from this as they had the highest score of the night.

Ribeiro and Carson were up against Thompson and Chigvintsev. Though Ribeiro looked a bit winded, he and his partner won the jive dance off.

Mota and Hough competed against Robertson and Ballas, and both pairs danced the cha-cha. Though they tied, in the end Mota and Hough got the points because head judge Goodman voted for them.

Chong and Murgatroyd competed against Waltrip and Slater. Though Chong had a slight calf injury during the first dance, he and his partner won the extra points.

In the end, Waltrip, who had the lowest scores, was sent home.

"It was a chance to do something that was more emotional than physical," said Waltrip. "I grew so much emotionally, I'm a better person because of my tenure here, and I'm happy I got to be here."

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
