'Dancing With the Stars' Season 19 News: Val Chmerkovskiy Feuding with Antonio Sabato Jr.? Dances and Music Revealed for Week 3
Could a feud be brewing between one of the pro dancers and a celebrity contestant on this season's "Dancing With the Stars"?
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy is accusing Antonio Sabato Jr. of cheating on his wife with his partner, Cheryl Burke.
"Part of Maks' (Chmerkovskiy, former DWTS pro and Val's brother) strategy was to get under the skin of other dancers and throw them off their games. If Val has learned anything from him, it's that being feisty and even confrontational can really get you ahead," Globe magazine stated in their unconfirmed report.
"Early on in rehearsals Val told Cheryl Burke to watch out for Antonio because he has a reputation. And that got Antonio steaming. Antonio stood chest to chest with Val and told him in no uncertain terms that he's happily married and to mind his own business," an alleged insider added.
In other news, this week's theme for the performance night is "Movie Night," and the pairs will be dancing from a song of their choice from a movie soundtrack.
Burke and Sabato will be dancing a foxtrot to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" from "Guardians of the Galaxy," while Chmerkovsky and his partner Janel Parrish will be doing a jazz routine to "America" from the "West Side Story'.
Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker are doing the tango to "The Great Gatsby" track "Back to Black", and Bethany Mota and Derek Hough will be doing a jazz routine to "Singing in the Rain" from the movie of the same title.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson will be doing a quickstep to "Hey Goldmember" from "Austin Powers in Goldmember,'" while Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani will dance to theme from 'Ghost', "Unchained Melody".
It's a throwback number for Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev who will be dancing the cha cha to "Power of Love", which is off the soundtrack from her movie "Back to the Future," while Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd will do an Argentine tango to "Por Una Cabeza" from "Scent of a Woman/"
Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas will be doing a Viennese waltz to "Married Life" from the movie "
Up', while Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff will do a paso doble to "Eye of the Tiger" from 'Rocky III', and Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater will waltz to "Everything I Do (I Do it For You" from 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves'.
Watch the stars battle it out on the dance floor on "Movie Night" on Sept. 29 on ABC.
