"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 star Tamar Braxton announced on Tuesday that she will be leaving the show due to a health issue. According to the official website of ABC, the R&B singer-actress will no longer be competing in the American dance show after she was diagnosed as having pulmonary embolism.

She revealed details via her Instagram account wherein she said that her time with "Dancing with the Stars" has come to an end as well as her scheduled tours. She posted a photo of her with her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, by her hospital bed.

The source continued on to say that Braxton was hospitalized just before Monday's show. She didn't make it in time to perform a contemporary routine in the first part of the night but luckily, she was able to do the team dance number with Chmerkovskiy, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess.
