Danica Patrick 'Dancing With The Stars' Refusal
Danica Patrick has turned down the opportunity to appear on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" this year, but with good reason.
The NASCAR driver has been approached to appear on the reality series several times, but maintains that she has neither the time nor the patience.
"I don't have a month or two ... and I'm a little too intense; I'm too competitive," admitted Patrick to Access Hollywood.

The 30-year-old IndyCar racer's competitive spirit is what earned her the highest finish by a woman at the Indianapolis 500 of third place. She is also the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing.
"I get mad and people wanna see you smile, and I wouldn't smile," she continued, referring to "DWTS."
Although she claims her attitude would be a problem on the show, Patrick noted that her skills would be impeccable.
"I was a cheerleader and I have some rhythm," said the speed driver. "I can dance."
Meanwhile, "DWTS" has entered its 15th season this year.
While stars such as Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith are still competing for the Mirroball trophy, Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini have already been kicked off the show this season.
The dance competition television series sees Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron and co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet.
Recently, Burke-Charvet announced her diagnosis with thyroid cancer, causing her "DWTS" associates to rally their support. Posts of well wishes have flooded Twitter over the past week in support of the model and host.
Erin Andrews, who competed on "DWTS" during season 10, posted, "Thinking about @DancingABC friend @BrookeBurke… Prayers and all the best your way Brooke."
Talk show host and former "DWTS" contestant Ricki Lake wrote, "@Brookeburke sending huge healing love your way."
Melissa Rycroft, who is still competing on the show, added, "You're such a strong woman, and I admire your courage. I hope you feel all the love and support behind you… We love you!"
"DWTS" airs on ABC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST.
