Danica Patrick's Super Bowl Ad Released, See GoDaddy's New Image
Danica Patrick stars in her 13th Super Bowl commercial for GoDaddy this year, but this time, the famed NASCAR driver appears very different.
The latest ad for Patrick's sponsor, GoDaddy, was released on Thursday, Jan. 23, just two weeks ahead of this year's Super Bowl XL VII.
In it, 5'2" Patrick is in a bulky costume, leaving her barely recognizable as she and a crowd of body builder men race toward a spray-tanning salon.

The latest GoDaddy ad is a far cry from Patrick's ads for the company in the past-ones with risqué scenes and bikini-clad women.
"When I first saw [the costume,]I thought, 'Holy crap!' But I understand this ad is about brand extension, and more about what they do now," the NASCAR star told USA Today.
Furthermore, GoDaddy explained their new image as well as the deviation from sexy advertisements.
"Our message is that of the go-getter- valuable, edgy and fun," said GoDaddy's CEO, Blake Irving, while speaking to USA Today.
"Two years ago, it was provocative, sexy, crazy, gutsy," he added.
Marking Patrick's 13th GoDaddy ad, the company's founder and chairman Bob Parsons decided to refocus on small businesses with this year's ad.
"GoDaddy has always been incredibly passionate about our small-business customers, and I love how the new marketing approach showcases our support for the little guys," Parsons told USA Today.
Patrick also offered her take on this year's GoDaddy ad, voicing approval of her longtime sponsor.
"I love what's going on at GoDaddy," the 31-year-old said in a statement, according to UPI News. "Since our last Super Bowl, I've been to the new Silicon Valley office and talked with customers who are genuinely grateful for how GoDaddy helps them grow their businesses online. GoDaddy is for the go-getter, the 'little guy' looking to compete with the 'big guys,' and I love that."
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl XL VII will see the Denver Broncos playing the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 2 at 4:30 p.m. EST. The NFL event will air on Fox live from the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
