'Daredevil' Season 2 Cast News, Update: Scott Glenn's Return As Stick Confirmed

Coming in as a huge surprise, the first season of Marvel and Netflix's superhero drama series "Daredevil" caught the attention of the public with its dark and gritty atmosphere littered with expertly choreographed fight scenes all throughout the show. Adding to the treat is the list of equally interesting characters like the one who is now reported to come back.

The news broke out this week, via the official Twitter account of "Daredevil," (per Screen Rant) that Scott Glenn's character Stick will be making his way back to Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) Hell's Kitchen in Season 2.

"The old man is back. Stick is returning to Hell's Kitchen for season 2. #Daredevil" the Twitter post reads.

Fans, who were able to see the update, were also delighted with the accompanying photo of Stick and the younger Matt sitting side by side on a bench at the park. Meanwhile, the bracelet, which the blind kid made for his master, was seen lying on the table in front of the photo frame.

Stick's brief appearance in the previous season was rather impactful. His storyline revealed as to where Matt learned his superb martial arts skills as well as hone his body senses.

His relationship with the fatherless kid, however, was rather limited to a master-student setup. Soon as Stick realised that Matt was beginning to treat him like a surrogate dad, he walked out of his life.

Stick's re-entry to Matt's life was rather marred with a hidden agenda. Scenes showed Stick appearing in front of Stone – who, as divulged by SR, is presumably a member of The Chaste.

The man, squatting on the floor with his back marked with huge scars showing, asked the blind master if Murdock is already prepared for the times to come.

Stick also finds the time to lecture Hell's Kitchen's guardian about going soft as the elderly seems to prefer a rather fatal way of dealing things.

Down at EmpireOnline.com, it is indicated that filming for "Daredevil" Season 2 is already underway with Season 1 cast Elden Hensen and Deborah Ann Woll returning as Foggy and Karen, respectively.

The show is slated to come back on Netflix by 2016.
