'Daredevil' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Charlie Cox Wants to Be in a Marvel Movie, Explains Hallway Fight Scene

Actor Charlie Cox, who plays the titular role in Netflix's superhero series "Daredevil," says that he would love for the iconic character to return to the big screen.

Daredevil was previously portrayed in the 2003 live-action film "Daredevil" by "Batman v Superman" star Ben Affleck.

Cox, who plays lawyer-by-day vigilante-by-night Matt Murdock/Daredevil, has previously spoken about wanting to see the Marvel Comics character make his way into a Marvel film. With the recent release of the show's second season, Cox reiterated his previous statement, telling IGN, "Personally I would love to be in one of the Marvel movies, but that's completely out of my hands – I'm not privy to those conversations."

Though the actor admitted that he doesn't know if a crossover could happen between his Netflix series and a Marvel Studios project, he emphasized that Marvel Studios characters have appeared in or gotten their own Marvel TV shows.

"I know it happened in other shows, I know it's happened in 'Agents of SHIELD' and of course 'Agent Carter,' but I have no idea," he said.

Meanwhile, Cox also recently spoke about the intense and realistic hallway fight scene in the recently-released season 2. "If you were to get into fights that lasted that long, you would be dying," the actor said. "You would be so out of breath. You wouldn't be able to get the air in quick enough. I just think that's such a smart piece of choreography..."

The second season of "Daredevil" is now streaming on Netflix.
