'Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers: Elektra Creator Not Happy with Netflix

The creator of the Marvel character named Elektra Natchios is not happy about her upcoming introduction to the Netflix series, "Daredevil."

Previous reports revealed that many new characters will be joining Matt Murdock's adventures in Hell's Kitchen in the second season of "Daredevil." One of the characters that fans are anticipating is Elektra, who will be played by Elodie Yung.

Much like the comics, the character is expected to play Daredevil's love interest. The two had a history together, dating back before they had their superhero identities. However, the creator of Elektra, Frank Millers, shared some of his sentiments during the recent Comic-Con Experience.

He expressed that he was disappointed in Netflix's portrayal of Elektra. He stated, "They can call it whatever you want, but it will not be the real Elektra."

Miller also shared that he did not even watch the first season of "Daredevil," which gave fans suspicions that there was drama behind the creation and production of the series.

Meanwhile, another big character will be joining the series. It was revealed that "The Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal will be taking on the role of The Punisher in "Daredevil" season 2. In addition to his introduction, the Chief Creative Office of Marvel Joe Quesada explained that there is a possibility for a spin-off series for The Punisher.

According to Comic Book, he stated, "I think we'd love to see something, but it's too soon to tell, and we don't necessarily like to discuss which metrics we use to decide these things," he said. "But what I can tell you is anyone who is a hardcore Punisher fan is going to be blown away and incredibly satisfied by Bernthal's take on Frank Castle. It's one of those cases where it's the character from the pages come to life."

"Daredevil" season 2 is expected to release on Netflix sometime next year.
