'Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers: The Punisher Revealed at Comic-Con Experience

New faces are expected to join Matt Murdock in the upcoming sophomore season of the Netflix series "Daredevil."

It was reported that Hell's Kitchen will be overflowing with vigilantes in the upcoming season of "Daredevil." Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, will be welcoming new allies, as well as enemies. Sneak peeks into the new characters were revealed during the Comic-Con Experience panel that took place in Brazil.

One of the exciting new additions to the character list is Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. The character will be played by "The Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal. Much like he is known in the comics, fans can expect that the Punisher will be bringing in more violence to the series.

The teaser from the Comic-Con Experience began with Daredevil dressed in his familiar costume. The video shows him talking in a refrigerated room full of hanging meat. As he looks further into the room, he saw some corpses hanging.

Another scene featured in the teaser was set at a rooftop with The Punisher ready to shoot someone with his sniper rifle. Just in time, Daredevil was able to keep him from pulling the trigger, causing both of them to fight.

With that, fans can expect that the two vigilantes will spend the season going head-to-head. However, it was revealed that the Punisher will not be the main villain of the upcoming season. It was explained that the two merely have a different approach when handling the crimes around Hell's Kitchen.

There has yet to be news on who Daredevil's upcoming villain will be, but it has been confirmed that other characters, such as Elektra, played by Elodie Yung, and Blake Tower, played by Stephen Rider, will be making their debut in season 2 of "Daredevil."

"Daredevil" season 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2016.
