'Dark Souls 3' News: Dragon Ruins, Grand Roof PvP Arenas Revealed, Both Set To Be Released First on March 24

'Dark Souls 3' players who only have 'The Ringed City' DLC pack will gain access to the new PvP arenas on March 28

Many "Dark Souls 3" players are likely already looking forward to the official release of "The Ringed City" downloadable content pack, though there are some other noteworthy additions they can receive even before then.

The noteworthy additions being referred to here are the new PvP arenas known as the Dragon Ruins and the Grand Roof.

More details about these PvP arenas were posted recently over on the game's official Facebook page.

First off, the new Dragon Ruins will be taking players to Archdragon Peak where they will have to battle within the remains of what looks to have been a formerly impressive structure. As developers noted, the design of the map should provide players with numerous opportunities to get the jump on their foes, though they of course will also have to be careful not to be caught unprepared as well.

While trying out the Grand Roof PvP arena, players will have to head up onto the top of Lothric Castle. Aside from the dizzying heights that need to be dealt with here, the presence of a tower can also factor into gameplay as players can utilize it in different ways in order to put themselves in a better position to slay their opponents.

"Dark Souls 3" players who own the game's season pass or the "Ashes of Ariandel" DLC pack can already receive the Dragon Ruins and Grand Roof PvP arenas as soon as they are released initially on March 24.

Players who have only purchased "The Ringed City" DLC pack will have to wait until March 28 to get the two PvP arenas. March 28 is also the official release date for "The Ringed City."

Another new feature coming to the game is one that will enable friends to play together on a single team in Undead Match.

More news about the additions coming to "Dark Souls 3" should be made available in the near future.
