'Dark Souls 3' News: Recently Released Gameplay Video Showcases New Boss Fight Featured in 'The Ringed City' Expansion
'The Ringed City' DLC pack to be officially released for 'Dark Souls 3' on March 28
"Dark Souls 3" players are undoubtedly looking forward to getting all the pieces of new equipment that will be added to the game via "The Ringed City" downloadable content pack. But beyond these, long-time fans of the series are likely also looking forward to the additional challenges presented by brand new bosses.
As players may have expected, developers haven't exactly made the bosses included in the new DLC pack any easier, and one particularly difficult-looking encounter will require players to take on two of these new enemies simultaneously.
A recently shared gameplay video courtesy of the YouTube channel "Rikudou" features the player engaging two enormous demons in battle.
One of the bosses is known as the "Demon in Pain," while the other has been given the name "Demon from Below." In the video, it is also revealed that the two demons are capable of landing some range attacks aside from already being pretty powerful within close range, so players will have to always be mindful of their positioning in the battlefield. If not, they may find that this boss fight will consistently turn out poorly for them.
The "Demon in Pain" and the "Demon from Below" are not the only new bosses expected to be included in "The Ringed City" DLC pack, as some screenshots that were released recently also hinted at some of the other mighty foes that "Dark Souls 3" players may soon have to deal with.
There is one screenshot that gives players a clear look at one fire-breathing dragon, while another offers an early glimpse at a mysterious creature with a disturbing appearance known as the Stone-humped Hag.
Some more "Ringed City" bosses could also be revealed soon as there is a livestream event featuring the contents of the new DLC pack that is set to take place on March 15.
"The Ringed City" DLC pack will be officially released for "Dark Souls 3" on March 28.
