'Dark Souls III' Rumors: Details and Screenshots Leaked, Reveal at E3 2015?

As the E3 2015 approaches, a lot of reports about new games and gaming products to be revealed by different players in the gaming industry are going around. Among the games that are rumored to be revealed during the convention is the sequel to the action role-playing video game "Dark Souls II." The sequel, called "Dark Souls III," will be announced by game developer From Software during E3 and will be released in 2016.

According to a report in Tech Times, cites a YouTube user, The Know, as the source of a video leak with rumored screenshots and some gameplay details about the upcoming game which has been long-awaited by fans of the "Dark Souls" series.

According to the video leak, the new game will have an open world that is as big as the first "Dark Souls" game. It will be composed of 12 areas. In terms of characters, players will be able to choose from ten classes from the start, from which they can choose one to build as the game progresses. There will be a greater number of enemies and bosses to fight against. According to the report, aside from those existing in previous versions of the game, there will be 45 new enemies and 15 new bosses. Bosses are also more powerful in this new game, because of a "heat up" mechanic which allows them to transform into different forms during a fight.

Among the game's new features is the one that allows players to conduct "sacrifice ceremonies" involving their enemies This reportedly takes the place of soapstones and signs in the previous games. Non-playable characters may also be summoned by players to witness these rituals.

According to another report in IGN, players will have 100 new weapons and 40 new armor sets they can use for their characters. There will also be around 60 minutes of "in-engine" cutscenes available to players who "love to watch movies while they are playing.

The game is being developed by From Software. Initial reports says that it will be available for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The PC version is still "under negotiation."
