It is worth noting that Snoke's name is not mentioned in any "Star Wars" comic, cartoon, canon novel, or movie. Plus, Darth Plagueis' real name has never been revealed. However, there are also several factors indicating that Snoke is not Darth Plagueis. First of all, Andy Serkis told Entertainment Weekly that his character is a new one. In the interview last month, Serkis explained that although the villain was just introduced, he has been existing for some time and is aware of what happened before, the report relays.
