Dave Ramsey's 'EntreLeadership' Opens on Top of Bestseller List
Debt management expert Dave Ramsey’s book EntreLeadership: 20 Years of Practical Business Wisdom from the Trenches opened at No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list after being released last week.
Ramsey, a syndicated radio talk show host (The Dave Ramsey Show) at more than 475 stations, shares in his new book how he grew his successful company from his living room table with practical tips for starting a business.
The Lampo Group, which was founded by Ramsey in 1992, has more than 300 staff or “team members,” providing a variety of products aimed at helping people reach their financial goals. The group is on a mission to provide “biblically based, common-sense education and empowerment which gives HOPE to everyone from the financially secure to the financially distressed.”

EntreLeadership is on the Times bestseller list for Hardcover Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous. The ranking reflects sales for the week ending Sept. 24.
The book is his first since 2003. Ramsey uses personal stories and examples from 20 years of business experience with his own company.
Ramsey recently was the guest speaker at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., where he said that part of the reason for the failing U.S. economy and individuals struggling with personal finances is that “we strayed in the operation of our businesses away from God’s way of running them.”
More than 20 years ago, as a new Christian, Ramsey said he decided to “run his money as God wants me to run my money.” He then began teaching others about how to manage their money using biblical principles.
“There is a lot of fear in our country right now. People are fearful about their financial situation and the financial situation in Washington,” Ramsey recently told The Christian Post. “When people stop fearing what is going to happen and take control of their situation, only then will our economy begin to recover.”
