David Otunga and Jennifer Hudson Appear in Court: Fiancée Skips Monday Night Wrestling (VIDEO)
Wrestler David Otunga apparently skipped out on Monday's RAW Supershow, in order to support his fiancée Jennifer Hudson as she faces the trial concerning her family's murder.
Otunga is a lawyer, professional wrestler and former reality television actor. He proposed to Hudson only seven months after meeting her; the couple gave birth to a son in 2009. Reports have confirmed that Otunga has been an active presence in the courtroom as Hudson deals with the murder trial of her family.
"WWE wrestler David Otunga is not at the Joe Louis Arena for tonight's Raw. Rather, he accompanied his fiancee Jennifer Hudson, who testified at the trial against William Balfour, who is accused of murdering mother, brother, and nephew," ProWrestling.net confirmed.

William Balfour has been accused of the 2008 slayings of Hudson's 57 year-old mother, 29 year-old brother, and 7 year-old nephew who were all found shot dead in Chicago. The trial began this week and Hudson had previously insisted that she had the intention of attending all trial proceedings. Some were skeptical about a star being present in the courtroom.
"Star power always matters. The prosecutor wants her there and the defense does not want her there," criminal defense attorney Troy Slaten, who is not involved in the case, told E! News. "The jury could be looking at her reactions, if she is crying, how she reacts to certain testimony. They are going to be very aware of her presence."
Husdon however has remained true to her promise, and first appeared in court Monday. Friends and family also accompanied Hudson, including her 32-year-old fiancée, as she took the stand and gave a tearful testimony. Hudson remained on the stand for approximately half an hour, wearing all black as she spoke against Balfour.
The trial will continue Tuesday as prosecutors continue to offer supporting evidence that Balfour is guilty of the crimes.
