'Days of Our Lives' Cast Shrinks
According to an announcement made on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this past Monday, the cast of the hot soap opera "Days Of Our Lives" will get a little smaller. On the day time talk show, Allison Sweeney who plays Sami on the show, told host Ellen that she would be leaving her the show. To see why she made that decision, read on.
During "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" the actress spoke about when she plans to leave "Days of Our Lives."
"I decided that it's going to be my last year with the show," Sweeney said.
Allison Sweeney has been with the show for a very long time, since she was a teenager.
"I've been on Days of Our Lives since I was 16 years old, and I have never had more than a two-week vacation in that whole time," she told Ellen.
Sweeney was sure to emphasize that she enjoys working on the show.
"I love my job, I love daytime, I love the fans. I love everything about it," she said.
She explained she will be leaving the show to spend more time with her family
"I just work so much and my daughter just turned 5 and my son is 9 and I just want to be with them."
How will things end for Allison Sweeney's character Sami? How will the character be written out of the show? Sweeney herself had some ideas.
Sami "deserves some sort of very twisted, like, "Breaking Bad" ending. She's caused a lot of people a lot of problems," the actress said.
