'Days Of Our Lives' Plot: Hope Rescues Ciara But Gets In Trouble With Law

This will be a big week for the American daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives" as the characters deal with romances new and old, grapple with sorrow and heartbreak, and face deception, violence, and even death.

According to the spoilers for the "Days of Our Lives" episodes for December 14 to 18, fans will see Hope (Kristian Alfonso) desperately trying to save Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) from her kidnappers. Ciara is rescued but things will get complicated. Teasers reveal a standoff, an arrest, and a possible death. Did Hope kill one of Ciara's kidnappers? Was she framed? Is she going to prison?

Meanwhile, Philip (John Paul Lavoisier) is back. He wants Victor (John Aniston) to make some bold business leaps. Belle (Martha Madison), who was crushed by the dissolution of her marriage to Shawn (Brandon Beemer), will run into Philip. Will sparks fly between Belle and Philip? Will the two rekindle their old romance?

This is what fans can look forward to in the December 14 to 18 episodes of "Days of Our Lives":

Monday, Dec. 14: Hope attempts to rescue Ciara. Philip tries to convince Victor to make a brave business move.

Tuesday, Dec. 15: Belle and Philip have an accidental meeting that stirs up long-forgotten feelings. Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Chad (Billy Flynn) spend a special night together that strengthens their bond.

Wednesday, Dec. 16: Ciara gets mad after finding out that Theo (Kyler Pettis) is the victim of bullying. Abigail gets some positive news. Hope is arrested for murder - by Rafe (Galen Gering).

Thursday, Dec. 17: Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Ava (Tamara Braun) face off.

Friday, Dec. 18: Chad breaks up with Abigail, which leaves her heartbroken. Kayla wants Ava to leave, but Ava has information that causes Kayla to reconsider.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays through Fridays on NBC.
