'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: John Finally Meets His Mother
The day that John (Drake Hogestyn) thought will never happen, will now happen, since he will finally meet his mother.
According to Soap Shows, it will be a dramatic reunion between John and his mom, Maude (Eve Brenner), in the upcoming episode later, Jan. 19. Maude seems to be the woman who gave birth to him since she knows his birthmark. The website said that Maude will offer an explanation on why she had to give him up, but some fans are still skeptical if she is truly John's mother.
However, Celebrity Dirty Laundry already posted a spoiler last week on what's going to happen next after John meets his mother, and it seems like it will not go any better for him. According to the website, John will believe Maude's explanation and will thank her for letting him know his story. He goes to see her, but when he sits down with her for a cup of tea, Maude betrays him by putting poison on his drink.

Maude's plan to kill his son fails, since John, who is still conscious, pulls out a gun and points it at her accomplice, Vadim (Joseph Kamal), before knocking him out. John says that he smelled the drugs in the drink so he faked drinking and passing out. It was not mentioned what John will do to Maude after he knocks out Vadim, but fans can just imagine how heartbreaking it is for him to find out that his "mother" wanted to poison him.
The synopsis of the episode was posted n She Knows Soaps, and the short summary reads, "John comes face-to-face with his mother. John finds himself in a dangerous situation after a stunning betrayal."
