'Days of Our Lives': Julie Meets New Important Person While Mourning David's Death
In this week's episodes of "Days of Our Lives," Julie Olson Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will reportedly learn about an important person who she never knew existed while still mourning the shocking death of her son David Banning (Gregg Marx).
A couple of weeks ago, Julie received the devastating news of her son's passing. She has not seen David for so many years since he left the fictional town of Salem and that is what makes it harder for her to deal with her loss.
In the past, Julie can be remembered telling other characters that she is still communicating with David. However, they have not interacted in person since her son moved out of town.
On the other hand, amid Julie's grief, she will reportedly get great news from a character named Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) who recently arrived in Salem. Fans can recall that upon his arrival, Eli attended David's funeral and is obviously looking forward to connect with David's family, especially Julie. Meanwhile, he holds a grudge against his mother Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams).
According to spoilers, David's death adds flame to the anger that Eli feels against his mother. It turns out that Valerie kept the truth from Eli that David is his real father. Now that Eli is in Salem, he has two main goals - the first is to tell Julie that he is her grandson, and the second is to push Valerie to admit to her mistakes.
Learning that she has a grandson from David might help lessen Julie's feelings of guilt over her not being able to be with her son before his shocking death. However, it is also worth watching how this would play out with Valerie's plans of rekindling an old flame with Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Valerie is a surgeon who has just returned specifically to help cure Abe. Her teenage son Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) does not approve of the idea of Valerie and Abe being together again.
"Days of Our Lives" airs from Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
