DC's 'Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers: Hawkgirl's History Detailed, Sarah Lance and Ray Palmer a Love Team?
Several fans cannot wait to watch DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" already even though it's still months away. Fortunately, several spoilers have surfaced all over the web giving expectant watchers a heads up on what's to come to the show. One key character in the show that fans are curious about is Hawkgirl.
According to Cinema Blend, the appearance of Hawkgirl in the upcoming superhero TV series is the character's "biggest media appearance yet." She will be played by Ciara Renee who explained the character's mystical background and how the show will touch all the different incarnations of her character through time.
Renee said in an interview with Screen Rant that the show is certainly doing the "reincarnation version." "She used to be an Egyptian priestess and has been reincarnated with Hawkman for centures," said Renee. "At present, that's the storyline we're working on, but I think what's great is that they've created something where they have a lot of possibilities."
She also shared that it's possible that they will explore the character's background by going "backwards and forwards in time and find all different kinds of Hawkgirls." And since Hawkman will be making an appearance in "Legends of Tomorrow," it's most likely that the two will share a unique but complicated romantic connection.
In other news, the latest about Sara Lance, played by Caity Lotz, is that she will have a love team in the show as well. According to a report by KpopStarz, showrunner Phil Klemmer implied the possibility of Sara and Ray Palmer going into a romantic relationship. Played by Brandon Routh, Ray Palmer is another former "Arrow" character who also survived his own certain death experience. And as International Business Times said, it looks like Sara will finally get even with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) for stealing Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) from her because Ray is also Felicity's ex.
In the current "Arrow" universe, Sara is already dead but she will be resurrected through the help of her sister Laura (Katie Cassidy) who dug up her body in order to dip it into the League of Assassin's Lazarus Pit.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere in midseason 2016 on CW.
