DC's 'Legends of Tomorrow' to be released next year, last spinoff of CW
Those who are fond of following superhero TV series will be catching another one soon as DC's "Legends of Tomorrow' is expected to air in the earlier part of 2016. According to We Got This Covered, CW's live-action adaptation of "Legends of Tomorrow" is progressing relatively well. With a handful of projects already, CW has confirmed that it won't be making any more DC character spinoff series in the future.
In a report by Screen Rant, CW President Mark Pedowitz announced at the TCA press tour that after "Legends of Tomorrow," the network will take a break from producing superhero shows as they might overshadow the non-superhero shows. Pedowitz' exact words were, "There is no intention at this point, to spin anything else off."
Reports say that the network's decision may be legitimate since about 30 percent of the programs in CW will be about DC comics' materials, with successful shows "Arrow" and "The Flash" currently in the works to continue its story in the network. Aside from that, the debut of the show will mean that the network must bring about three hours of new content each week.

But according to Realty Today, if "Legends of Tomorrow" turns out to be a failure, there's a chance that the show will only air for one season. Reports also revealed that there is a rumor circulating about "Arrow" on how the show might end after five seasons.However, people may still be able to see the "Arrow" characters make guest appearances on "The Flash" as the two shows are somehow connected and their characters are known to have made appearances on the other show in the past.
Unlike "Arrow" and "The Flash," DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" will feature different DC characters. According to IMDb, characters of the upcoming superhero show will include Captain Cold, Rip Hunter, Hawkgirl, Vandal Savage, White Canary and many more.
