DeAnna Pappas, Former 'Bachelorette' Star, Welcomes Baby Girl
DeAnna Pappas Stagliano, who once appeared on ABC's "The Bachelorette," welcomed a baby girl with her husband Stephen Stagliano this week.
"Can't begin to explain the joy I have w/ my baby girl," Pappas posted to Twitter on Monday, just days after her child's arrival. "Perfect husband & perfect baby. I'm very lucky. Thank u all 4 the tweets! #fullheart"
The 32-year-old new mom appeared on season 11 of "The Bachelor" with Brad Womack in 2007, but was not selected after the final rose ceremony. However, Pappas was tapped to star on the fourth season of "The Bachelorette" the following year, but the television series still did not produce a successful relationship. A few years later, in an unusual turn of events, Pappas fell in love with Stagliano whose brother was a contestant on season 5's "The Bachelorette."
Now, Pappas and her husband are the proud new parents of their daughter who arrived on Thursday, Feb. 6.
"Our little angel is here! Daddy now has two loves in his life! Thank you all for the love and support," 30-year-old Stagliano posted to Twitter on Saturday.
The couple married during a ceremony in Georgia in 2011 and announced their pregnancy in August.
"The baby is due Feb. 8 and Stephen's birthday is Feb. 4," Pappas explained at the time, according to People. "I told him all he's getting for his birthday this year is a baby."
Pappas and her husband have not yet announced the name of their baby girl, but the couple are thanking the warm wishers on Twitter.
"Thank you! We can't take it she's so beautiful," Stagliano wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
The proud new dad also noted that he and his wife "are just in heaven right now!"
Meanwhile, Pappas remains busy with reality television as a co-host on the daily television show "Get Married" on Lifetime.
