'Death Race: Beyond Anarchy' Release Date News: Coming To Home Video This 2018
The next "Unrated and Unhinged" installment of Universal 1440 Entertainment's "Death Race" franchise is coming to home video. "Death Race: Beyond Anarchy" will be arriving on DVD, Digital, and Video on Demand early next year from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, in association with Impact Pictures/Chestnut Productions.
Dive into the deadliest competition on wheels where brutal fights and explosive car races abound. According to the official press release, the film is the grittiest and bloodiest installment yet of the intense action-adventure racing franchise. Don't believe them? The film features franchise newcomers Zach McGowan from "Black Sails" and Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover. They will be joined by franchise veterans Danny Trejo and Fred Koehler along with Christine Marzano, Terence Maynard, and Velislav Pavlov.

"Death Race: Beyond Anarchy" follows Trejo, as he returns as the ruthless bookie Goldberg in the wildest, bloodiest Death Race ever. After a failed attack on legendary driver Frankenstein, Black Ops specialist Connor Gibson (McGowan) infiltrates a super-maximum federal prison to enter the race and take Frankenstein down.
Along the way, he enlists the help of Baltimore Bob (Glover) and Lists (Koehler) and unexpectedly falls in love with bartending beauty Jane (Marzano). However, by entering the prison, Connor will have to fight for more than his life in this brutal world of no guards, no rules, no track, and no fear.
The Blu-ray, DVD and Digital releases all include bonus features special behind-the-scenes footage and commentary Director/Co-Writer Don Michael Paul and Star Zach McGowan. For those who want to experience the full franchise experience, a complete 4-movie edition featuring "Death Race," "Death Race 2," "Death Race 3: Inferno" and the all-new "Death Race: Beyond Anarchy" will be available on DVD the same day as the film's release on Jan. 30.
