Deion Sanders Glorifies God After Getting Custody of Children
Deion "Prime Time" Sanders, the NFL Hall-of-Famer, was granted custody of his two sons shared shared with his estranged wife Pilar Sanders.
The former football player was given sole custody of the pair's 11 and 13-year-old sons, while he will share custody of their 9-year-old daughter with Pilar. A reported 11 of 12 jurors ruled in favor of the NFL Hall of Famer receiving custody of the children, according to a TMZ report.
Although Pilar reportedly attempted to prove that her former husband had dabbled in steroid use, he said in court proceedings that her main incentive was money.

"I think the whole reason we're here is not about kids, it's about money. Let's call it what it is," said Sanders in a CBS 11 report. "They refuted the pre-nuptual. We beat them in court regarding the children and we're back. We'll be back again [for] something else."
After the verdict, the NFL player-turned-network analyst took to his Twitter account to give glory to God.
"Thank all of you whom prayed for me and my children. The Truth is what it is," he tweeted. "Never doubt God! Truth."
A representative for Pilar reportedly told Rumor Fix that she planned to appeal the jury's decision.
"Pilar didn't lose today, the children are the ones who did," the representative reportedly said. "She has, is and will always be a good mother."
Earlier during the custody battle, Sanders spoke about his estranged wife's issues.
"(Pilar) is still searching. She doesn't know what she wants to be," Sanders said of his estranged wife to DallasNews.com. "When someone tries to destroy everything you are and everything you stand for, that's kind of hard. It's hard to communicate when you know the fabric of that person."
Last April, a domestic altercation took place at the former couple's $5.7 million home where each alleged that they were attacked by the other. However, a judge ruled that the Hall of Famer was only defending himself against Pilar's assault.
