A Texas judge ordered the football legend to begin making monthly payments for the couple's three children Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi on Tuesday, but denied Pilar's request for an additional $14,000 a month in spousal support, according to TMZ.

"Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. We arrived at this decision prayerfully and carefully in order to be able to pursue what is in both of our best personal interests. Neither Pilar or I will be discussing this any further and thank you in advance for respecting the privacy of our family. Truth," Sanders wrote in a Facebook post.

The couple's marriage was rocked by cheating allegations in the months leading up to their divorce with both parties being accused of infidelity. It is unclear whether this influenced their decision to part ways.

Their divorce battle recently became so nasty that Pilar was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking Sanders in their Texas home in April.

The former reality TV star was booked for "assault family violence" which is a misdemeanor, and was eventually released from police custody but banned from returning to the Texas home.

"I am innocent. I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake," Pilar told reporters shortly after her release.
