Demi Moore's Efron Crush a Sign of Despair?
Demi Moore, who was recently rushed to the hospital when she inhaled nitrous oxide along with an unidentified smoke substance, had reportedly spiraled out of control in an attempt to stay young. New reports now say that she had been approaching young star Zac Efron prior to her collapse.
Friends and family were terrified when Demi Moore, 49, began having seizures following the inhalation of nitrous oxide and smoke. A new source recently reported to US Weekly that the situation had become beyond control. "Everyone thought she was going to die," the source stated.
The star, who is still struggling to get past her split with Ashton Kutcher, 33 has in recent months become more obsessed over her dwindling youth and the need to be extremely thin. She has reportedly taken to partying, drinking, and drugs. "She's been mixing pills and Red Bulls, among other things," according to the source.
In an attempt to feel young again, Moore is also trying to surround herself by young people, a source told US Weekly. "She's been really down, and she's surrounding herself with young people to make her feel better," the source stated.
In perhaps the worst report, the insider also claims that Demi Moore may be using her daughter's friends to feel young again as well. She's made recent attempts to hit on Rumer Willis' close friend Zac Efron, 24.
US Weekly reported that, "A wired, gaunt Moore 'tracked down' the High School Musical star at a party in L.A.'s Venice neighborhood." Their source continued, "She seemed out of her mind at this party."
Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher has not made himself very present in the media. After Moore was taken to the hospital, Kutcher was found in another country coming out of a club with a blonde, young woman.
New reports have suggested that Kutcher has now rushed to Moore's side, although Kutcher doesn't mention anything on Twitter, instead taking to posting silly videos and making jokes.
Kutcher did however confirm that he has returned to work with "Two and a Half Men." The actor tweeted "http://twitpic.com/86xrkl back to work #twoandahalfmen" earlier this month.
