In the first game, Stephen Curry exploded for 34 points as he lifted the Warriors to a 119-104 victory. The team scored an impressive 74 points by half-time to have an impressive lead, and despite the late run by the Nuggets in the second half, Golden State held on to the win.

When they met for the second time, the Warriors won, 118-105, at the Pepsi Center as Klay Thompson had 21 points and seven assists to help the Warriors, while Darrell Arthur poured in 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the loss for the Nuggets.

The Warriors got to an early lead but a great second quarter by the Nuggets trimmed the lead a little bit. However, the Warriors kept their composure and outscored the Nuggets in the final two quarters to take the victory and a 2-0 series lead.

In their last meeting, it was the most exciting game at the ORACLE Arena as the Nuggets did not show any signs of fear against the defending champions.

Denver fought back despite a 37-13 deficit after the first quarter to eventually outscore the Warriors in the last three periods to force overtime.

Unfortunately, the Nuggets lost steam and the Warriors won 111-108.
