Denver Weather: Another Storm Slams Colorado
Denver was slammed with more snow on Wednesday, less than a week after another storm cut power to 200,000 residents in the region.
The storm blanketed Denver and dumped over a foot of snow in some areas.
“This storm pretty much lived up to expectations,” said Meteorologist Chris Tomer to KCWH.

“It was a quick-hitter…in that it was here and gone within 12 hours and brought a lot of snow in a short period of time," Tomer added.
The conditions made traveling difficult as 40 flights were cancelled at Denver International Airport and roads throughout the area were closed.
Wednesday's storm cut power to almost 5,000 homes in the Greenley area and caused tree limbs to snap, according to utility representative Gabriel Romero.
Lingering winds up to 25 mph are expected to be a problem, creating drifts and making visibility difficult, according to the Denver Post.
Dozens of schools were closed Wednesday because of the storm and many others were delayed.
Warmer temperatures are expected to return to Denver on Thursday, but more snow could arrive in the region on Saturday.
The snow is predicted to move east toward Kansas, Nebraska and Atlanta.
