'Designated Survivor' Season 1 Episode 15: The President Gets Real in 'One Hundred Days'
Nothing can drive a man to take great strides better than knowing he has been underestimated. In the next episode of ABC's political drama series "Designated Survivor," President Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland), will show everybody that he is not going to be a mere pawn in anybody's destructive plans.
In the previous episode, Kirkman found out that he had specifically been chosen to survive the explosion that claimed the lives of the former president and his entire Cabinet. He wasn't lucky, after all. It turned out that he also wasn't a threat to anybody's great plans to destroy the American government.
This will incite Kirkman to make his own bold moves by releasing an agenda to reset his presidency and rolling out his first policy initiatives. The move will be met with political firestorm and may even be derailed by Kirkman's wife, Alex (Natascha McElhone), making a controversial public statement, which in turn will lead the public to question who's really making the policies between her and Kirkman, as shown in the official trailer for the next episode.
Kirkman wants to start from square one and go through his first 100 days all over again, but this time with more conviction and commitment to his role as president. This will undoubtedly put a much bigger target on his back as the conspirators become more eager to take him down. Can the president survive his first 100 days?
The previous episode also saw Kirkman telling FBI agent Hannah (Maggie Q) that she will be working for him from now on as lead investigator in their quest to unmask the mastermind behind the conspiracy. But in the upcoming episode aptly titled "One Hundred Days," Hannah will find herself at the core of a dangerous trap as she comes even closer to uncovering the truth.
"Designated Survivor" season 1 episode 15 airs on Wednesday, April 5 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
