'Destiny 2' Gameplay News: See What's in Xur's Inventory and Where Players Can Find Him This Weekend
As another weekend arrives, it is time for "Destiny 2" players to once again look for Xur and see what the merchant has in his inventory.
Xur is known as the game's merchant for Exotic weapons and armor pieces. Like a real-life merchant, he does not permanently stay in one location. Every weekend, Xur appears at one station but only for several days. Players will need to find him first before being able to purchase something from him.
Every week, Xur offers an Exotic weapon compatible with all players plus an armor piece for each of the "Destiny 2" classes. Players will need to save 29 Legendary shards for a weapon and another 23 Legendary shards for the armor piece.

Where is Xur This Weekend?
For this weekend, reports have it that he is in the Giants Scar area in Io. To find him, IGN suggested that players spawn in the said vicinity and then look for some doors placed in the foot of the structure. This will lead them to the other side of Giants Scar.
Upon reaching that point, players need to walk along the wall to their left and follow the rocks. They will know they are near Xur when they find a control station with a number of crates scattered around it. Find the nearby small cave and Xur will be there, hidden behind the pillars.
What's in Xur's Inventory?
This weekend, "Destiny 2" players can purchase the Exotic weapon Riskrunner. It is regarded as one of the best weapons in the game. This submachine gun is popular for its ability to produce the chain lightning effect, which makes it an effective weapon when facing a horde of enemies.
Hunters can also purchase the Exotic Mechaneer's Tricksleeves gauntlet with a high level of mobility to increase the players reload and ready speed. Xur also brought the Hallowfire Heart, an Exotic chest piece for Titans. Its advantages include getting more levels of resilience and mobility. Lastly, the Warlocks can acquire the Exotic leg piece called Transversive Steps, which improves the player's recovery and mobility.
Xur is stationed in the Giants Scar starting Friday, Sept. 29, and stays there until Tuesday, Oct. 3.
