'Destiny 2' Rumors: Will Bungie Start to Talk More About the Sequel?

'Destiny 2' currently expected to be released later this year

Gamers already know that "Destiny 2" is set to be released later this year, but beyond that, many specific details about the game remain unknown at this point.

That actually is not that surprising as developers would obviously prefer to keep important details about upcoming games under wraps for as long as they can and save them for special announcements designed to garner as much attention as possible.

Still, there will come a point when developers will need to finally pull back the curtain and reveal what they are working on, and that moment of truth could be coming soon for the eagerly anticipated follow-up to "Destiny."

The folks over at Bungie may have even hinted recently that they are getting ready to talk about this sequel.

As a report from WWG pointed out, the developers have already hinted that they may reveal more about their plans for March in a recent post on their website and there's a chance that what they could be planning to talk more about is "Destiny 2."

That's certainly a possibility, but there's a chance that Bungie may opt not to spill all the beans about the sequel just yet and pivot to revealing more about an upcoming update for "Destiny" instead.

Now, even if this month does pass by without any new sequel details being released, fans may still not have to wait for that much longer to hear about this upcoming game.

With the Electronic Entertainment Expo looming and other noteworthy gaming-centric events coming up soon, developers will have plenty of opportunities to talk about this sequel, so fans shouldn't worry too much even if they don't learn anything new about it this month.

"Destiny 2" details will be shared this year, and at this point, it is just a matter of figuring out when those new bits of information will be revealed.
