First of all, Destiny fans are advised to calm down and collect public event packages. Once the new DLC is released, fans will be able to use their characters to join public competitions. They can procure the materials they need to upgrade their weapons from the Postmaster.

In Taken King, players will be able to earn XP. They are advised to participate in public events and hold off from retrieving their rewards until the release date of the DLC. The amassed XP should help them climb up the ranks faster. But, they should also remember that only one public event package is allowed for every character each day, the report details.

Players can also gain access to a maximum of 16 active bounties with the Destiny 2.0 update. They need to accomplish as many Crucible and Vanguard Bounties as they can before Sept. 15. Once The Taken King is released, the active bounties can be used to level up their weapons and armors, Video Gamer reports.

For Destiny fans in the United States or in Canada, Red Bull has tied up with Bungie to give fans an added XP for every can. On Sept. 15, they can redeem the code and activate it from the Postmaster. The bounties can also be used to claim public event packages or more XP.
