Detroit Lions vs New Orleans Saints Live Stream (Fox): Watch NFL Football 2017 Online

The Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints will face off at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday for a big Week 6 clash in the NFL 2017 regular season. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET, and can be watched on TV on the Fox network, or online through live stream (details below).

Both teams are still in the running in their respective divisions, which means there's a lot at stake in today's game.

The Lions come into Week 6 on 3-2 and tied for second in the NFC North. They are chasing the 4-1 Green Bay Packers, and know a loss today could let their division rivals pull away even further. They cannot let that happen, so will see today as a must win if they are to maintain pressure on the Packers.

Meanwhile, the Saints are on 2-2 and tied for bottom spot on the NFC South. However, the division leading Atlanta Falcons are only on 3-1, and the second placed Carolina Panthers dropped back to 4-2 following their loss earlier this week. So a win today could see the Saints get right back in the thick of things as the season moves towards its midway point.

It is essential that the Lions protect Matthew Stafford today as he picked up a slight knock and ankle injury against the Panthers. The Lions will want to give him as much time as they can and offer him a strong running game to take the pressure off and stop any threat of the injury getting any worse.

The Saints are averaging almost three sacks per game, so they will be targeting Stafford today, knowing if they can get on top of him early on then it would seriously disrupt the flow of the Detroit offense.

Earlier this week in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers squared off for Thursday Night Football, with the Eagles eventually coming out on top 28-23 in a tight game of football.

Both teams came into that match up on 4-1, but it was the Eagles who came away improving their record to 5-1, where as the Panthers dropped back to 4-2 following a bruising encounter.

Cam Newton had the chance for a game winning drive, but the Panthers came up just short when the quarterback's fourth down throw bounced on the ground.

With that win the Eagles are emerging as real contenders for the NFC. They are being led admirably by Carson Wentz, who threw three more touchdowns on Thursday night. Oppositely, Cam Newton threw three interceptions, which proved costly for Carolina.

Things had been looking good for the Panthers, as they took a 10-3 lead in the first half, with Wentz not able to get going at all for the Eagles.

However, when Luke Kuechly left late in the second quarter following a concussion, the game was turned on its head, and suddenly Wentz was able to find a lot more time on the ball and was able to drive the Eagles into scoring position after scoring position.
