Devotion Music releases Worship Extreme
Devotion Music has started 2003 strong with the launch of the Devotion Worship Series. The latest release in the series is Worship Extreme, the first truly radical rock worship record addressing the musical tastes of teens. Worship Extreme features popular praise songs from some of today's most popular Christian Rock bands, including the #1 rock single "Open Your Eyes" by Pillar. Other artists on the project include DW (Daniel's Window), ForthRight, Justifide, Anthem, East West, Cal Logic, SoulStar, Neverlost, and more.
The first three projects in the Devotion Worship Series are in stores now. They are: Modern Worship (featuring songs by Steven Curtis Chapman, Billy Smiley, and Matt Redman), Scripture Song, and Quiet Worship (featuring vocals by Nikki Leonti, Geoff Moore, and others). Quiet Worship also features Lisa Cochran singing "Transform Us," which will be featured on the next TimeLife Music Songs For Life release. New releases planned for 2003 include Scripture Songs For Kids and Gospel Extreme.
"Devotion Music is a unique worship experience that focuses on the creativity and talent of those who directly influence what we sing in church every week," says producer Billy Smiley. "The heart of Devotion Music is to share with the body of Christ the new songs that are being written by worship leaders and musicians from various denominations around the world."
