'Diablo 3': What PS4 and Xbox One Players Can Expect
New Season of 'Diablo 3' expected to start on March 31
There's a new Season that is set to start soon inside "Diablo 3," but this upcoming one will be significantly different from earlier Seasons since even console players can take part in it.
Specifically, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will now be able to access Seasons as well, according to a previous post on Battle Net.
Now that PS4 and Xbox One players can participate in these Seasons too, they will also be able to enjoy some game features that were previously made accessible just to those who play the game on the PC.
For instance, console players can now create Seasonal Characters that exist separately from the ones they may have been using previously.
Players can then use these Seasonal Characters to take on the Season Journey. As players progress further in the Season Journey, they will be able to claim different rewards, including some cosmetic items.
This Season, some of the cosmetic rewards that will be made available to "Diablo 3" players are new portraits as well as the Loremaster pennant.
The players who also take the time to play through the Season Journey can earn different Haedrig's Gifts. According to a separate post on Battle Net, players who go through Chapters 2, 3 and 4 of the Season Journey will be able to receive special items that can help them as they continue to venture forth and take on more challenges.
Console players can take on Conquests as well, and these will yield points that will matter greatly over the course of a Season, as accruing enough of them can earn a player a coveted spot on the Seasonal Leaderboard
All players will be able to take on the new challenges and try out the additional features included in the upcoming Season, once it officially goes live inside the game on March 31.
More news about "Diablo 3" should be made available in the near future.
