Dianna Agron 'Glee' Rumors: 'I've Nothing But Love for That Show'
Actress Dianna Argon has finally broken her silence about missing the episode of "Glee" that paid tribute to fallen costar Cory Monteith. She claims that she feels nothing but love for her costars but didn't exactly state why she missed filming.
"I've nothing but love for that show and everybody involved in it," Agron told The Irish Independent. "It was such a huge part of my life, so I think it's equally hard when I'm not there every day anymore. I don't see all of them every day anymore to have things like this fly around. It's more heartbreaking than it would be if I was there with everybody. It makes me feel even farther away from our show. With those people it was the perfect mix of everything I needed to prepare me for everything else. We cut our teeth on that show, and it's always going to be so special because of that."
However, rumors abounded that there was bad blood between Agron and creator Ryan Murphy, which is why she was "left out" of the special episode.
"I think she was working. I don't know," Murphy said in October when asked why Agron wouldn't appear in the episode.
Fans were also upset that she didn't appear, given her character's significant relationship with the character portrayed by Monteith. The two characters dated for the first season, before Monteith's character moved on and began dating that of Monteith's real-life girlfriend, Lea Michele.
Agron was not pleased by all the rumors surrounding her non-appearance but admitted that it was part of being in the public eye.
"Bad news spreads faster than anything good. And I think it's just such a shame, especially involving someone that we love so much, that the good old internet has taken everything that they want to say about it and spread it like wildfire," she noted.
