The two-year old military shooter, initially launched in October 2013, has been receiving continuous post-launch support in the form of downloadable content, the latest of which features a new map, "Zavod: Graveyard Shift," which has been based on "Zavod 311," an existing "Battlefield 4" map.

The "Graveyard Shift" map features a number of tweaks and improvements to allow players to experience increased tactics display and more stealthy gameplay. The map also supports a number of "Battlefield 4" modes, including Gunmaster, Domination, Team Death Match, and Conquest Rush.

"Night Operations" is part of a huge "Summer Patch" update DICE has released to fix several features of the game, including spotting mechanics and the sound system, exploits, vehicles, and weapons. The patch has added a new public server team balancer option for enlarged game modes, as well as other improvements.

Together with its August announcement of the currently available "Night Operations," DICE also announced it will be launching two other maps exclusively for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at a later date. Players should expect the "Siege of Shanghai" and "Golmud Railway" maps to be released soon.

The three maps have already been beta tested on the Community Test Environment, with several features tweaked and improved based on player feedback on the public beta test forum.

"Night Operations" is currently available for all platforms, except for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console owners in Europe, where DICE has announced the DLC is expected to arrive today, September 8.
