Diddy and NBA Stars Return To College

Sean “Diddy” Combs has decided to go back to college, appearing with his son and some of the NBA’s biggest names at the University of California in Los Angeles.

Combs, an entertainment mogul, brought his son Justin, 18, to the college campus recently to find a college for the high school football star to attend. The young Combs is currently a cornerback for New Rochelle Iona Prep high school and being offered to play for UCLA, along with schools in Illinois, Virginia, Wyoming, Tennessee and Alabama, according to The Los Angeles Times.

During their visit to the UCLA campus where they attended football practice and a classroom session, Justin was also accompanied by NBA players Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook and Barron Davis. Since the NBA lockout began last month, all three players decided to pursue an education at UCLA.

“Another great day at school,” tweeted Davis, a point guard on the Cleveland Cavaliers. “Recruited P. Diddy to our history class!! Good looking big bro.”

Love, a defensive player for The Minnesota Timberwolves who is taking summer classes at UCLA, decided to snap photographs of Diddy in his class.

“The in class picture, I am the one taking the picture. Not actually in it. So I was the one not paying attention in class,” Love wrote to accompany the picture posted on his Twitter account.

Although Diddy and his son were just visiting the campus this week, Love said he was serious about pursuing his education at UCLA.

"I don't want the lockout to go to December or January but just in case I've signed up to be in class in the fall," Love said, according to CBS sports. "I'm excited to have the opportunity to do so but I'm hoping my fall classes get cut short."

Aside from Love, Westbrook and Davis, New Orleans’ Hornet small forward Trevor Ariza is also enrolled in classes at UCLA this summer.
