Mario Gotze added his name to the scoring column in the 25th minute with a goal thanks to an assist from Kingsley Coman before Lewandowski scored his second only three minutes later.
Finally, Lewandowski completed his hat trick as he scored after 10 minutes of the restart in the second half to complete the domination and give the Bundesliga giants a comfortable victory.
Now it is still uncertain if the German stars will field their strongest team as they already have secured a place in the next round, but if they do then expect a similar result.
