Apple, Roblox, LinkedIn: 12 mainstream contributors to sexual exploitation
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, a network that oversees millions of internet properties, made the 2024 Dirty Dozen List for providing support for prostitution websites and other sites tied to sex trafficking.
"Cloudflare supports sites that host deepfake pornography tools — the actual technology used to create abusive content of unsuspecting individuals, mostly women," NCOSE stated.
"By providing content delivery network (CDN), domain name system (DNS), and Web Application Firewall (WAF) services to exploitative enterprises, Cloudflare enables illegal and harmful activities to thrive. Cloudflare is an essential component in keeping these exploitative sites operational."
Earlier this month, NCOSE sent a letter to Cloudfare Co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince, imploring him to "terminate all services to sex buyer review boards, prostitution sites, and deepfake pornography platforms."
