Apple, Roblox, LinkedIn: 12 mainstream contributors to sexual exploitation
LinkedIn, a social media platform known for connecting businesses, employees and job searches, made this year's list for allowing sexually exploitative entities, such as OnlyFans and Pornhub, to operate on the platform.
These entities include the parent company of Pornhub, OnlyFans and Seeking (Arrangement) even though each site is battling credible accusations of "child sexual abuse material, sex trafficking, image-based sexual abuse, and other nonconsensual content" being found on their sites.
"LinkedIn also allows promotion of 'nudify' apps used to create deepfake pornography, actually providing instructions and tools for how to 'undress' unsuspecting women and girls," NCOSE noted.
"Furthermore, LinkedIn has a major problem with sexual harassment, with one survey reporting 91% of women received romantic or sexual advances on LinkedIn."
