In a Sunday X post, Lila Rose, the founder and president of the pro-life activist organization Live Action, alluded to Harris' support for the Reproductive FACT Act in 2015 when the Democratic leader was the attorney general of California.

The law required pregnancy resource centers to advertise abortion to clients, and centers that did not offer medical services in the first place had to prominently display a sign saying they were not licensed as a medical facility by the state of California.

The U.S. Supreme Court declared the law unconstitutional in a 5-4 decision released in 2018.

Rose accused Harris of unfairly prosecuting pro-life activists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress. In 2015, CMP released a series of undercover videos that purportedly showed Planned Parenthood discussing the harvesting and sale of aborted baby body parts.

Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, and its allies have repeatedly denied the allegations, claiming that any money received for aborted baby body parts is a legal reimbursement for costs associated with procuring the body parts. In 2016, Harris authorized a raid on Daleiden's home, sending several U.S. Department of Justice agents to seize the video footage.

"As VP, she's continued her crusade against pro-life Americans & the preborn," Rose tweeted. "A Harris presidency would be disastrous for human rights."
