'Dissidia Final Fantasy NT' News: When and Where to Watch This Week's Live Broadcast
One of the highly anticipated events for avid "Final Fantasy" fans was the first live broadcast of "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" for PlayStation 4, and luckily, it happened this week.
"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" is a fighting game based on Square Enix's famous action role-playing game franchise "Final Fantasy" where players can experience picking characters from the series and letting them battle one another.
"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" has been available in arcades exclusively in Japan since November 2015, and it is yet to debut on the console platform -- particularly on the PlayStation 4 -- worldwide next year.

This week, players waiting for the console port of the fighting game got to see a live broadcast gameplay preview of "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" courtesy of Square Enix.
The said livestream event was held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m. Japan time. For other regions, that schedule translated to Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 8 a.m. EDT. "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" fans were able to watch the live broadcast through several channels such as YouTube and NicoNico Live.
Although the livestream is still ongoing at this point, according to reports, it features the reveal of several key gameplay details for "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT." Square Enix was also expected to introduce the list of "Final Fantasy" characters that will be included in the game's PlayStation 4 port.
Players tuned in to the "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" live broadcast will also get to learn firsthand a bit about the fighting game's backstory. Its voice actors were also expected to attend the live event, along with producers Ichiro Hazama and Yoshinori Kitase as well as game director Takeo Kujiraoka.
"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" has already shown a set of major changes compared to previously released "Final Fantasy" fighting games. It introduced four combat classes of characters - namely the Vanguards, the Assassins, the Marksmen, and the Specialists - in its arcade version. The characters' strengths were based on their combat class, such as power, agility, range, and unique skills, respectively.
