Donald Trump kicks Univision's Jorge Ramos out of press conference

Donald Trump is not yet done wreaking havoc in the media industry as he has kicked Univision anchor Jorge Ramos out of a press conference in Dubuque, Iowa on Tuesday.

The Republican presidential candidate once again made headlines after a confrontation with Univision's Jorge Ramos during Tuesday's news conference. The television personality was kicked out of the conference after asking Donald Trump about his proposed immigration policy, according to an AP report published by the Business Insider.

Trump's immigration proposal aims to put an end to birthright citizenship in the United States. During the conference, Trump interrupted Ramos in the middle of a question and told the news anchor to sit down because he had not yet called on Ramos. The billionaire also told Ramos to "Go back to Univision."

"You cannot deport 11 million people," Ramos said as a security detail approached him to take him away. "You cannot build a 1,900-mile wall."

Ramos was talking about Trump's proposal to deport all illegal immigrants and allow only a few of them to return, the report adds.

Trump later on explained that Ramos may have been the one to blame for the incident because he had stepped beyond the line, US News reports.

"He just stands up and starts screaming. Maybe he's at fault also," Trump later on explained.

The confrontation with Ramos came a day after the Republican presidential candidate resumed trolling Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Twitter. The female anchor had just returned from a vacation on Monday and she was immediately welcomed back with biting remarks from Trump.

Trump posted a status on Twitter saying Kelly's vacation must have been a bad one because she was "really off her game." In the wake of his criticisms, Fox News chief Roger Ailes came to Kelly's defense and urged the real estate mogul to apologize to the Fox anchor, the report relays.

Meanwhile, Ramos was allowed to return to the news conference later on. A few moments later, he and Trump resumed their word battle and continued interrupting each other throughout their exchange. Ramos continued to insist that Trump's immigration plan is "empty," but the latter also continued to stand his ground.

Under the 14th Amendment, babies born in the United States automatically become American citizens. But Donald Trump is seeking to make changes to this provision through his controversial immigration proposal.
