Dragon Age: Inquisition Free DLC Packs Release Date News: Download Available From May 5, 2015
Good news for gamers of "Dragon Age: Inquisition." The game's publisher Electronic Arts and its developer BioWare recently revealed not just one but two downloadable content packs to be released on May 5. Arguably the best news for fans of these coming DLC packs is that they will be free.
The news comes before the release of the DLC pack "Jaws of Hakkon" for the PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360 players which is due for release on May 26. This DLC was a timed exclusive release for the Xbox One and PC.
GameSpot reports that the first DLC will bring to players access to what is called The Black Emporium. BioWare describes this as a "premiere shopping destination" where players will be able to buy new weapons, accessories, crafting materials and rare items from a character named Xenon the Antiquarian. The emporium also has what is called the Mirror of Transformation which allows players to change their character's facial features.

Two new thrones for Skyhold will also be available in this DLC, but these can only be unlocked by players who have played "Dragon Age: Origins."
The other DLC pack provides an expansion for the multiplayer mode called Dragonslayer. It allows players to craft an item called the Dragon's Call which apparently summons different dragons, which the player then fights. A new Ferelden castle will also be provided in the DLC, and a new map, as well as three new agents: Isabela, Skywatcher and Zither: The Virtuoso. Zither was originally thought to be an April Fool's Day joke but as it turns out, became a real part of the game. More details about the Dragonslayer DLC will be demonstrated on May 5 via a livestream on Twitch.
Both packs will be released for free on all platforms - PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on Tuesday, May 5.
